Mas-wrestling is a national sport of the Yakuts, introduced in 2003 in the All-Russian Register of Sports. The rules of mas-wrestling are quite simple: to win, an athlete needs to wrest a stick from the hands of an opponent. At the same time, the legs rest against the board dividing the athletes.
