Skater Medvedev does not know when plans to end his career – Sports

MOSCOW, November 15. / TASS /. Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva does not think ahead in the end of her career. She announced this at a press conference after a short program at the Grand Prix stage in Moscow.

19-year-old Medvedev scored 76.93 points in the short program and takes first place. The skater works with Canadian coach Brian Orser.

“I probably didn’t think about what my life would look like three years ago, I had such changes that I couldn’t even imagine,” Medvedev said. “I didn’t even think that I would be in Canada, every day I try to do everything that depends on me, because of my health, if my body allows me, if I’m 38 years old, I’ll go out on the ice, because it’s my love, I’ve been doing it all my life, there’s no exact age for ending a career while there’s forces to fight – we must continue. "

Medvedev is a two-time silver medalist of the 2018 Olympic Games, as well as a two-time world and European champion.

Women will present their free programs on Saturday.
